Join The Queer Urbanistas & TQNC (The Queer Neighborhood Council) this Wednesday at Dani's Queer Bar for a night of city gossip, haunted vibes, and queer mischief. Think less “networking,” more “urban legends with cocktails."
This meetup is for anyone interested in transportation, housing, and other urbanism policy & work, and all members of the LGBTQIA+ and ally communities are welcome. No particular knowledge or experience is required, come as you are!

The Queer Neighborhood Council was founded to fill gaps in visibility, access, and advocacy for Boston’s LGBTQIA+ community. During Pride Month when there’s a lot of queer programming and events, TQNC reduces our own event offerings, and organizes members to support a variety of queer community groups and events. In June 2025, TQNC hosted 3 of our own events, and organized queer contingents to participate in 8 additional events.

Our Queer Artists Market is back for a Downtown spring edition! Join over 30+ incredible Queer Artists and community groups and LIVE musical guests The Femmes. Market goers can expect vibrant art, heartfelt stories, and passion in every brushstroke and stitch in a a magical gathering where creativity and community collide.

TQNC and BAGLY will host a roundtable discussion on housing policy, and then we'll talk about ways folks can get involved in supporting a trans youth shelter in Boston.

Come celebration or trepidation, join supportive queer friends and allies to watch Election Night results roll in! We’ll have news on a giant screen in one room, and separate spaces to hang out in case you need a chiller spot away from the news. Some snacks and drinks provided (21+ for alcohol), bring more to share!

This Working Session will be in preparation for our Policy Roundtable on 5/22 with Boston City Councilor At-Large Henry Santana, along with updates on our advocacy campaigns including Trans Youth Shelter and Right to Counsel (legal representation for tenants facing eviction).
We’re here, we’re Queer, and (after brunch) we’re taking over Downtown Boston! Meet new Queers and discover a kaleidoscope of artistic mediums from Queer Artists & Artisans at TQNC’s Queer Spring Fling Artists Market. Engage in meaningful conversations and support the talented artists behind the works, and talk with community resource and advocacy orgs!
