QUEERAOKE for Digital Freedom

  • Midway Cafe 3496 Washington Street Boston, MA, 02130 United States (map)

Queereoke is always a party, but on July 24th it will be a protest too! Open bar for the first 30 minute, and we'll be singing extra loud against fascist attempts to censor LGBTQ expression, from book bans and drag bans to online censorship legislation like the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA). Cover charge waived, free food! Concrete actions you can take to stand with trans youth against censorship bills.

6pm - 8pm: food, drinks, information and live performances from Ryan Cassata, Hazel Afrodite, Killah Croc, Molly O'Leary, Justin Arena, and more. Co-hosted by Evan Greer and Burhanika Rebels.

8pm til late: Queeraoke as usual, but it's FREE!

Sponsored by Fight for the Future in partnership with iiiLabs, Trans Resistance MA, TQNC, Stonewall Sports, HELP, Lavender Education, and more to come! Contact Burhan@iiilabs.org with questions or to learn on how your organization can get involved in fighting for a safer internet for LGBTQ+ people.
