Psyched for Pride

Join us for our second annual Pride celebration and fundraiser for the launch of our Queer Psychedelic Community.

A queer-centered social event connecting those exploring psychedelics to support healing, acceptance and self-love.

Check out our digital pamphlet for the full event guide: psyched-for-pride-2026.netlify.app

This social event centers the voices of LGBTQ+ individuals exploring psychedelics as a tool for self-acceptance, healing, and identity integration. You can expect:

  • A brief queer-centered speaker panel sharing personal stories

  • Ample time for socializing and building connection with queer folks and allies in the psychedelic space in and around Boston

  • Dialogue around building a Queer Psychedelic Community to serve the needs of the community all year long and how you can get involved

  • Queer-focused mental health resources

  • Art auction and raffle featuring queer community members and busineses

  • Celebration beginning at 8 pm with Captain DJ Fuzz and drag performances by local artists Oliver Body and DDSM

Whether you’ve walked your own path with plant medicine or are just curious, this is a space to share, reflect, and build bonds with others who are on the same road. Allies welcome!

Suggested donation of $20 for this fundraiser is requested for those who can contribute to our efforts, but cost is never a barrier to attendance. Your donation goes directly to the creation of Mass Healing's Queer Psychedelic Community, supporting year round queer-centered events and education, as well as the creation of an access fund for scholarships for psychedelic-assisted care.

If you can't attend the event, but want to support, you can make a direct donation here: https://givebutter.com/psyched-for-pridequeer-psychedelic-community-j2np0d

Hosted by Mass Healing (a registered 501c3), in partnership with the Boston Psychedelic Society and our community partners Queer in Cannabis, the Weedaker Group, and New Dia, this gathering is part of our ongoing commitment to community-led support around psychedelic healing. Learn more about our mission at www.masshealing.org.

Rooted in Love; PRIDE Healing Circle for Parents & Families of LGBTQ Youth

These days, it may feel like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders—especially as global politics and policies seem determined to diminish our presence. But together, we hold the power to change this. Join us in this welcoming intergenerational space dedicated to trans, queer, and LGBTQIA2+ community members. Through solidarity and understanding, we can transform shared experiences into inspiring insights, fostering resilience and collective strength. Let's unite to challenge the forces trying to erase us and create a future rooted in support, reflection, and empowerment.

healing circle is a powerful and transformative group process, rooted in Indigenous traditions, where individuals come together to share their experiences, build meaningful connections, and embark on a collective journey of healing. It provides a safe and welcoming space for open dialogue, emotional expression, and the sharing of collective wisdom, all of which significantly enhance personal growth and community well-being.

Circle Structure:

  • Participants sit in a circle signifies continuous self care and the evolving nature of collective healing

  • We use a Talking Piece: An object (like a stone, feather or Crystal) is passed around, allowing only the person holding it to speak, ensuring everyone has a chance to share without interruption.

  • Active Listening: We ask you to remain present during as participants are sharing.

  • Confidentiality: What's shared here stays here, be a vault.

  • Shared Responsibility: We encourage you to support each other and contribute to the collective healing process.

  • Focus on Connection and Belonging: We aim to build strong relationships and foster community.

Community Altar:

We will have a community altar as a part of this community session. Community altars serve as a space for remembrance, collective grieving, and healing. You are welcome to bring an item to add to the altar.

The Healing Circle is Thursday June 25th from 6:00pm-8:00 pm on 930 Massachusetts Ave. Cambridge

We will email folks the day before the event with a Zoom link for those joining us virtually. For questions, contact fitness4allbodies@gmail.com.

Black Queer Storytelling

LGBTQIA+ members of the African Diaspora are invited to Black Queer Storytelling; a sacred space to reclaim our narratives through the ancestral practice of Oral Histories.Tues. Feb 24 | 5:30 PM - 8 PM | Parkside Bookshop

What is your story? This is an open, communal space for sharing. Bring a poem, a short story, or a song you’ve been working on. Offer divine wisdom or reflection. Or simply come to listen: Your presence as a witness is just as vital to the circle.

Why we gather: Those who were enslaved used spoken word, song, dance, and proverbs to ensure our history was never lost. As a wider queer community, we have also faced erasure. As black queer folx, that pressure to conform is multiplied—nonetheless, we have endured. There would be no American queer rights or justice without the life, legacies, and sacrifice of Black queer people and our elders.

Deep gratitude to our collaborators: We couldn’t do this without their incredible support.

Chosen Family Thanksgiving

Chosen Family Thanksgiving

Join us for a heartfelt and intentional Chosen Family Thanksgiving.

This holiday can be complicated for many of us. We are reclaiming this day to celebrate the most valuable thing we have: Each other.

  • The Vibe: A warm and joyous celebration.

  • The Mission: To give thanks for our found families, the safe spaces we cultivate together, and the powerful, messy, and revolutionary act of building family outside of tradition.

  • Open to all queer and trans folks: If you need a sanctuary, a hot meal, or a loving place to come home to this holiday—you are welcome here.

Come as you are. Bring your whole self. Let's make some new traditions.

Our host, a southern belle, is preparing some delightful southern soul foods for us: Collards greens, black eyed peas, candied yams, pork neck bones, biscuits, Honeybaked Ham, and more.

There will be variations of traditional foods like cranberry sauce(but fermented), cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and more.

Optional: Bring desserts, beverages, and any home traditional dish you'd like to share.

Sponsored by Sir Doula: an intentional, family-centered, and community based doula practice with concentrations in gender-affirming care, pregnancy, and childbirth.

Hosted by The Queer Neighborhood Council (TQNC): a trans-led nonprofit organization that addresses the intersectional needs of Greater Boston's LGBTQIA+ communities through community organizing, strategic partnerships, artistic development and the celebration of queer joy

Open Streets Dorchester <> TQNC Meetup Hub

🌈 Open Streets Dorchester is back, and TQNC will be there to host a dedicated community resource table and meetup hub at this event!

📍Come find us, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the day! 🏳️‍⚧️

During Open Streets Dorchester, Dorchester Ave (from Ashmont St to Adams St.) becomes a lively hub of community and play.

🌸🌸🌸

The goal is to connect neighbors, local businesses and visitors to our communities.

Open Streets Boston is a collection of vehicular-free, family friendly events offering programming across a wide spectrum of interests—from wellness activities and performance art to artisanal crafts and “kids zones” (and much more!) During these events, the City of Boston will close major thoroughfares to motor traffic, instead opening the roadways up for pedestrian use that will include walking, rolling, biking and other modalities. Special programming and activities, including a fantastic community marketplace and musical entertainment, will be featured throughout the day from 10:30am - 3:00pm.

TQNC is a grassroots nonprofit fostering queer joy, advocacy, and arts for Greater Boston’s LGBTQIA+ and ally community. TQNC hosts queer community events where we can safely exist as our whole selves, advocates for our queer community, and provides support services for queer community members facing threats to their basic physical and mental health. Trans Takeover at The Alley

🏳️‍⚧️ Trans Takeover is Back by Popular Demand! 🏳️‍⚧️

You asked, and we listened! Get ready for another Trans Takeover at The Alley Bar on Friday, September 12th from 7-9 PM. We're thrilled to bring back this special event celebrating trans joy and building community. 🌸

🪩 This is a dedicated space for trans & gender non-conforming folks, and an opportunity for our communities to foster belonging, reduce isolation, and empower our siblings to thrive without fear or judgment. The urgency for such environments has never been greater, and your presence helps us ensure these crucial spaces continue to exist and flourish.

🌈 Partners and supportive pals (of all identities!) are warmly welcomed. Come meet new neighbors, reconnect with friends, and enjoy a night out in a private area at The Alley Bar in Downtown Boston.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and while alcohol is 21+, all ages are welcome to join in the festivities.

We can't wait to see you all there! 💖

Reading is Resistance: August Book of the Month

Reading is Resistance: A TQNC Book Club & Community Hang

In times like these, stories are our refuge, our resistance, and our roadmap to a better future. Join facilitator Kimberly Rhoten for Reading is Resistance, a monthly book club and community gathering designed to nourish, inspire, and empower our LGBTQIA2S+ community.

Each month, we’ll read books that challenge injustice, celebrate queer joy, and deepen our understanding of the world and each other.

*PLEASE NOTE: You do NOT have to read the book to join. This isn’t just a book club—it’s a space for connection. Come for the books, stay for the conversation, and build relationships with fellow queer neighbors who believe in the power of literature as activism.

Where? Virtual (with quarterly opportunities to meet in person!)
When? Monday, August 25th from 7-8PM

What are we reading? We’ll choose together! Books that support us in these times—whether that means radical resistance, queer joy, or both.

AUGUST Book of the Month: We Do This ‘Til We Free Us by Mariame Kaba

*available at local and online libraries

Because reading is resistance. And resistance is better together.

Queer Boston Harbor Sunset Cruise

Queer Boston Harbor Sunset Cruise

🥳 We’re going cruising!

👀 Um, not that kind of cruising.

🌇 We’ll be taking a queer contingent on a Boston Harbor Sunset Cruise, in partnership with Save the Harbor/Save the Bay!

⛴️ ⚓ Location Meet at Rowes Wharf:

60 Rowes Wharf, Boston, MA 02110

This is located behind the Boston Harbor Hotel. If you find the big archway with the big flag, walk through it towards the water and take a right onto the Harborwalk. We will be checking people in next to the Mass Bay Lines office to board the boat.

Schedule Please arrive at Rowes Wharf at 5:45pm to check in for our 6pm Boarding and prompt 6:30pm departure. The trip will be a 90-minute narrated harbor tour, and we will be back at the dock by 8pm.

🚇 Transit The dock is a short walk from South Station (Red & Silver Lines) and Aquarium Station (Blue Line)

Accessibility Please see the Cruise Accessibility Guide for full details! As a high-level overview, the dock and boat are wheelchair accessible, but the upper decks and onboard restrooms require stairs to access. Restrooms accessible to people using wheelchairs are available at the dock in the Boston Harbor Hotel lobby. The guide linked above has more explicit details, including photos and information for all access points — and please message us if you have additional questions or concerns!

Things to Bring

💦 Water bottle

🧥 Jacket — as it is often a bit breezier on the water

🌞 Sun Protection (hats, sunglasses, etc)

🥨 Snacks if desired (we'll have some to share too!)

🤑 Cash if you want to purchase drinks (alcohol 21+) or snacks on board the boat

🥳 After Party at Trillium Garden on the Greenway

Join us after the cruise for a casual hangout at the Trillium beer garden on the Greenway park, directly across the street from the boat dock, at the corner of Atlantic Avenue & High Street.
