The Queer Neighborhood Council offers Visibility, Access, and Advocacy for Boston's LGBTQIA+ and ally community. LGBTQIA+ people deserve civic & community spaces where we can safely exist as our whole selves — that's the problem TQNC set out to solve. We work across four pillars: Housing & Policy Advocacy Group — urgent action is needed for our community; Policy Roundtables — engage directly with elected officials & policy experts; Community Arts — support local Boston-area queer artists & venues; Socials — build community. In the past year, TQNC has hosted nearly 50 events, engaged 14+ elected officials on policy priorities, collaborated with over 32 organizations and venues, featured 80+ queer Boston artists & performers, and engaged over 1100 community members.
